A rare mark of professionalism.
At the time of writing (June 2026), only around 900 financial planning firms in the UK hold the status of “Chartered Financial Planners”. The fact that we’re one of them lets you know that you’re dealing with a quality organisation.
Our Chartered status means we’ve made a public commitment to deliver the highest standards of professionalism. So, you can have absolute faith that the way you’ll be looked after, and the advice you’ll receive, as our client is second to none.
Chartered Financial Planners
Institutional excellence.
In the UK, Chartered status is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This body has been entrusted with raising standards in the finance sector since 1912.
The CII grants Chartered status to individuals and businesses who display “eminence in their field.” As well as our corporate Chartered status, several of our planners are Chartered at an individual level. As you can tell, these high standards and principles are deeply embedded in De Mellow & Co, and that’s why you’re assured of the very best service at all times.
