Gary

Hi. My name is Gary Duff, this is my wife, Sandra Duff. We’ve been clients at de Mellow for approximately six years, and Mr. Mark Watkiss looks after us.

Sandra

When we retired, we moved house and received a sum of money. We had a personal adviser, but he retired, and recommended de Mellow to us, and that’s how we started with them.

Gary

When we first got introduced to Mark, who was very reassuring, he made us feel very comfortable. We had a sum of money that we wanted to invest, and we wanted to make a little bit of income from that money to secure our future and our retirement.

Sandra

He was very friendly and offered very good advice. He understood our situation, and that’s what I liked. And he never intimidated, for someone who doesn’t know about investments, he kept it simple.

Gary

He’s given us advice about sums of money that we’ve invested and what our options were. He’s manoeuvred or the company has manoeuvred money to financially improve the situation, which has been spot on. Secondly, we got some inheritance, and we gave him the same amount of money again, because we were very pleased with what Mark was doing.

Sandra

It makes me feel very safe that our money is being looked after, which is very important. I feel like I could go to Mark anytime, and he would be there for us.

Gary

In working with Mark over the past six years, he’s made me feel extremely comfortable. The money that’s been invested has been working well. It’s doing exactly what we proposed it would do, and in a good way, and it gives me financial security for the future.

Sandra

The three words I’d use to describe Mark are friendly, caring, and approachable.

Gary

One of the best pieces of advice he gave us was when we were looking at the money invested and making it work a little bit harder. He advised me that steady Eddie is sometimes better than a quick rocket up, because the quick rocket can also come down with a rather nasty bump.

Sandra

One of the best things about de Mellow is that it’s local to us, which is nice, because we can just go down there and see Mark, should we need to. The team as a whole are always very friendly, very welcoming, and that’s before we’ve even got to Mark.

If anybody came to me with a sum of money to invest, and they said, “Do you know of anybody who could possibly help in any way?” I would say, “Absolutely, yes. Go and see Mark Watkiss at de Mellow.”
