We’re delighted to announce some spectacular awards success

First up this month, we’re delighted to share that de Mellow & Co has been named a semi-finalist for the Chartered Financial Planning Firm of the Year in the Personal Finance Society Awards.

It’s great to have our continued effort and dedication recognised, and we’re incredibly proud of the whole team. As part of the next stage, we’ll be putting together a video that brings to life why we believe we should win, so watch this space.

Jodie is a finalist in the Women in Financial Advice awards

And the awards news doesn’t stop there.

We’re delighted and very proud to announce that Jodie is a finalist in the Professional Adviser Women in Financial Advice awards.

Jodie is nominated in the ‘Financial Adviser of the Year – South East’ category.

We’re sure you’ll join us in wishing Jodie all the best, while also acknowledging that just to be shortlisted is an incredible achievement and a testament to her dedication and hard work.

Karen begins a new chapter as she reaches retirement

Specialist client servicing manager Karen Cowen has been with us at de Mellow & Co since she first started with Chris and Christine back in 1992.

After more than three decades of service, Karen takes a well-deserved retirement and is heading to Devon to enjoy a brand-new chapter.

Karen will be missed by colleagues and clients alike.

Chelsea welcomes a new arrival

Head of client servicing, Chelsea Cobbold, left us recently to begin maternity leave, and we’re delighted to announce the arrival of little Henry.

Mother and baby are doing well, and we can’t wait to meet him at de Mellow HQ. We might even put him to work!

We have a fair few events coming up in September, so keep an eye out for our stand and come and say hello if you plan on attending any of the following events:

Hampshire Countryside Day

On Sunday 14 September, join us at Bereleigh Estate, East Meon, GU32 1ES, where gates open at 9.30 am.

The traditional country show celebrates the countryside and the people and animals that make it tick, with live arena shows, local produce, and family-friendly fun.

Entry is £15 for an adult ticket on the gate or £13 if you book online in advance. Under-16s are free.

Hambledon Hilly

We’re once again sponsoring the Hambledon Hilly this year and are immensely proud to be doing so in its 10th anniversary year.

The event takes place on 20 September with 10k, 5k, 2k and 1k races to suit runners of all abilities, and there’s still time to sign up!

Macmillan Coffee Morning

On Friday 26 September, we will be hosting a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Feel free to join us for tea and coffee, cake and a chat, between 9 am and 1 pm.
