Awards, big breakfasts, and grocery crashes – The ABC of your latest de Mellow team update
This month in your de Mellow & Co update, you’ll find exciting award news, a charity update, and the outcome of a collision between an Ocado delivery van and our beautiful office signage!
But first…
Alona and Jodie are nominated for the Women in Advice Awards
Each year, Professional Adviser promotes and recognises the achievements of women in our profession. They do so through their Professional Adviser Women in Finance Awards and this year, two of de Mellow’s own are nominated.
Marketing manager, Alona Bondarenko, and financial planner Jodie Phelps have been individually nominated.
Awards are an incredibly useful way for us to celebrate and advertise our commitment to the profession. Our success in even being nominated is a testament to the hard work of Alona and Jodie, and the whole de Mellow team and we’re incredibly proud of the work the whole team do for you, our clients, on a daily basis.
A huge congratulations to Alona and Jodie for their nomination and fingers crossed for the main event.
We will, of course, keep you posted.
A “Big Breakfast” in aid of our local primary school
De Mellow were proud to be the main sponsor of Hambledon Primary School’s annual charity “Big Breakfast” event.
Everyone who attended – children and adults alike – had a great time and this fantastic occasion raised an impressive £970 for the school.
And of course, well done to our raffle winner, who took home a beautiful hamper from The New Forest Hamper Company.
Ocado van delivers damage at de Mellow HQ

We’re big fans of grocery deliveries here at de Mellow, but a local van driver recently made a stop a little too close to home.
The Ocado “plum” van crashed just outside de Mellow & Co HQ. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the collision, and there was only one substitution – our pristine signage has been temporarily replaced with bare wooden posts and splinters!
Needless to say, we are in the process of getting this repaired and look forward to a return to our beautiful display boards in the near future.
