Our Process

We’ve developed a simple three step process to ensure that our clients get the most of their relationship with us.

1. Initial Meeting

First, we need to get to know each other. We’ll take the time discuss what’s important to you and what you want to achieve – not just financially – for you and your family without any over-complicated financial jargon. We call it your Future Perfect. We’ll use our powerful planning software to see how realistic your goals are and look at what could be achieved with some careful planning. We can also share with you what’s worked well for other families in similar circumstances. The meeting is with no commitment needed.

2. Identifying a financial plan for your Future Perfect

If you decide that you want to take the conversation further, we’ll start working with you to build your plan. We’ll go into more detail with you about your family, finances, current circumstances and also assess your attitude to risk and timescales. We’ll explain clearly how our fees work and if you choose to work with us we will produce a full report of our recommendations and enter into a formal and fully documented process setting out all costs and commitments. This includes the St James’s Place advice guarantee to give you added peace of mind.

3. Ongoing Support

And of course, it doesn’t stop there. Once we’ve created your plan, we’ll be here for the long term, to provide you with a single point of contact for all your financial planning needs. We’ll set up regular formal reviews to make sure your plan is always appropriate and performing as best it can, whilst adapting and changing in line with your circumstances. And outside any formal reviews, we’ll always be just a phone call or email away for advice and questions, for you, your family and even friends. We also often put on relevant seminars and topics that you and they will be welcome to attend.

Most importantly of all, throughout this process, we’ll never lose sight of your Future Perfect and helping you to get there.
